GENERAL ELECTRIC HAL-X production line
This exciting turnkey wind energy project for the HAL-X production line is dedicated to the B2, B4DT, and B4ST blocks, which we have developed in strategic locations in both France and China.
This project signifies a significant advancement in the field of wind energy and serves as a testament to our commitment to innovation and sustainability in the industry.

Challenge to solve
Our main challenge in this project includes the handling and assembly of heavy products with high precision requirements for a scalable system aimed at product evolution.
Additionally, high torque is needed for bolting applications, all within the context of an efficient manufacturing process that must adapt to existing plant layout restrictions.
Proposed solution
- Automatic High-Torque Bolting with HYTORC Washer:
Implementation of an automatic bolting system with precise torque and angle control using the HYTORC washer. - Automated Best-Fit Positioning Between Pitch and Hub:
Development of an automated best-fit positioning system between the Pitch and Hub utilizing a vision system to control coplanarity and concentricity accurately. - Automated Positioning System for Pole Shoe Assembly (x144):
Creation of a high-precision automated positioning system for pole shoe assembly, featuring tolerance tracking and gap control to eliminate the need for manual readjustments.
