Our project with Airbus Helicopters focuses on a digitally connected modular assembly line. The key to our success lies in the flexibility and modularity of the workstations, together with the implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) (AMRs) for an agile production flow.
This first-of-its-kind digital implementation at Airbus ensures first-class traceability and the ability to adjust production according to changing needs. Our customers have noticed that this tool improves safety, ensuring that production cycles are met and enabling risk anticipation.
Operators also benefit, as they experience significantly improved working conditions and greater ergonomic comfort at their workstations. Our stations allow effortless movement of heavy parts in any direction, allowing operators to fully concentrate on their higher value-added tasks.
This MECA 4.0 project with Airbus Helicopters is an outstanding example of how technology and innovation can transform production in the aerospace industry, improving safety and efficiency at work. We are proud to be part of this evolution in production at Airbus Helicopters.

Challenge to be solved
This project with Airbus Helicopters has the challenge of raising manufacturing quality, while creating a lean, flexible, ergonomic, and highly connected production line. The result is a significant improvement in quality, more efficient production, and rapid adaptation to changing market needs.
Proposed solution
Our solution relies on Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) based logistics for efficient material flow.
In addition, we have developed flexible workstations with interchangeable interfaces, enabling rapid adaptation to different product models. Full connectivity between all elements used provides real-time information, improving process visibility.
Our tools and stations are designed with operator ergonomics and flexibility in mind, optimising efficiency, and comfort in every task. This holistic approach ensures a high quality and efficient production process.

Aritex Atlantic: three years of expansion in France
Since its beginnings in 1961, Aritex has been a byword for innovation and progress in industrial engineering. Founded by the Arias and Teixidó families, the company has evolved over more than six decades from the creation of tools for the automotive industry to the development of turnkey systems for industrial sectors worldwide. In 2022, its international expansion took a key step forward with the opening of Aritex Atlantic in Nantes, France, a strategic location close to leading aeronautical plants, which has consolidated the group’s position in the French market.
We spoke with Carlos Yus, Programme Manager at Aritex Atlantic, who shared his insights on how he leads the subsidiary, tackles technical challenges and coordinates strategic projects for leading clients in the sector.
How Aritex and SEAT/CUPRA are reinventing on-site learning thanks to augmented reality
Innovation is a way of life in large industrial plants. SEAT/CUPRA have taken this approach and turned it into a method where the company opts for exploring technologies that can transform day-to-day tasks into more efficient processes.

The after-sales department: service and assistance after the project
You may think that concluding an installation or commissioning a turnkey project means that the job is over. You may even think that, at this point, the teams that designed and implemented the technological solutions to successfully overcome the client’s production challenges will pack their bags and say goodbye. Nothing could be further from the truth.
