At Aritex, we are celebrating a very special milestone in 2026: the 25-year career of our CEO, Ivan Ros, a key figure in the technical, organisational and cultural development of our group. His career is closely linked to the history of Aritex, and reflects the way in which we have grown as a company: with ambition within the industry, the capacity to adapt, and especially with people willing to learn and progress in highly demanding environments.
Ivan’s journey as part of our company started when he was just 20 years old, when the company was far from being the highly specialised international industrial group that it is today. His career is also a reflection of Aritex’s evolution over this period: from mechanical engineering to advanced automation, from the first industrial projects to the development of complex solutions at an international scale.
Throughout a quarter century, Ivan has experienced —and led— some of the group’s biggest revolutions: the entry into the aeronautics sector, the inclusion of new technologies, international expansion and the consolidation of teams in highly demanding settings. The time he spent in China and Brazil, where he set up subsidiaries from scratch, is a clear example of how he views leadership, based on proximity, responsibility and personal development.
Today, as the CEO of the Aritex Group, he now faces the challenges of the industry with the same curiosity as before, with the firm conviction that the true value of the company lies in its collective capacity to learn, adapt and advance without losing its essential values.

A leadership that combines vision, responsibility and proximity
For Ivan, leading the Aritex Group means a great deal more than simply occupying a position on an org chart. His leadership vision has evolved at the same pace as the company’s.
“I feel that leading Aritex is all about aligning company growth with the professional and personal fulfilment of our people”, he explains. Hierarchies can provide more information and perspective, but they don’t offer a greater impact on their own.
“The difference lies in the capacity to assimilate the information, put it in context and make informed decisions accordingly.” Over the years, he has developed what he calls maturity in motion: making decisions in the midst of uncertainty, progressing and sticking to these decisions in such a context, while also facilitating the work of others. This involves moving between the strategic view and operational realities, going out into the field when necessary and then taking the long-term view to help the whole thing to advance.
Managing uncertainty in a changing industrial environment
If Ivan had to name the biggest challenge facing our company, he knows exactly which one it is: uncertainty. Volatility is now an integral part of the industrial sector, and Aritex lives with this reality every day.
“The biggest challenge for any director these days is managing uncertainty.” In a sector like the one where Aritex operates, this type of management should be coupled with speed, robust implementation and a constant focus on the client.
“This requires a constant balance between anticipation, rigour, service and the ability to adapt”, he says. In complex industrial projects, where many technological and regulatory factors can come together, this ability to strike a balance is a key factor in maintaining consistency and meeting the required standards.
Learning at challenging times
Throughout his professional career, Ivan has experienced very challenging moments at professional and personal levels. Complex decisions, high pressure and changing contexts that have made him step out of his zone of comfort.
But far from avoiding them, moments like these have become opportunities for him to learn. In fact, they have allowed him to strengthen certain beliefs: the importance of building solid teams based on trust, shared commitments and mutual support.
“I’ve always felt the need to embrace what I learned and look back without pain”, he explains. There has been one common thread throughout his career: “Curiosity opens up the way, resilience enables me to take the path and learning allows me to grow”.
Culture and values: day to day differentiation
Consistency, learning and service are the values that Ivan identifies as the foundations for his leadership at Aritex. He tries to apply these values with humility, generosity and responsibility.
“Culture isn’t defined by what we say, but by how we behave every every day: how we decide, how we listen and how we help others to do things better.” In this regard, he feels a sense of alignment with the way our company works, based as it is on keeping in close proximity to reality and shared responsibility.
When asked about Aritex’s main strength, Ivan has no doubts at all:
“It’s definitely our people.”
They are the ones who enable us to take on highly complex international projects, integrate multiple technologies, design solutions from scratch and maintain the levels of quality, safety and reliability that characterise us.
Over the years, our company has developed a broad mix of industries and totally tailor-made projects based on high quality, safety and reliability standards. “We work with very high levels of automation, integrating a lot of technologies and creating solutions from zero”, explains Ivan, always using a deep understanding of the client’s needs as a basis.
“What really makes us stand out is how we put this capacity at the client’s disposal, while also maintaining our essential values when the pressure is really on.” For him, the match between what we are, how we work and how we accompany our clients is a key factor in progressing way beyond a technical solution.
Talent as the driving force of the company
Talent is one of the central cores of the Aritex Group, which integrates Loxin and ATX Robotics. Ivan prefers to focus more on development than on retaining personnel.
“We try to create an environment that promotes ongoing learning.” The business setting itself, where highly complex projects, demanding clients and international settings are the order of the day, make Aritex a real academy for professionals.
“Besides retaining talent, what we like to focus on is offering a space where people can grow, take on responsibilities and understand their impact.”
Innovation as a collective practice
Aritex’s development in recent years has gone beyond technology. According to Ivan, the changes started to happen in the culture, the processes and the way decisions are made.
“We’ve evolved towards a more cross-cutting model, where decisions are made in close proximity to the client and the realities of the situation.” For our company, innovation is not just a technical issue, it’s a way of understanding work. It involves creating spaces where people can propose, question and improve as they progress.
With this cultural base in mind, it’s also easy to understand how we focus on automation and robotics in the industry. They are essential for keeping companies competitive and improving efficiency, but they need to be implemented with care.
“Automation isn’t just a matter of incorporating robotics or software; it’s also about clearly understanding the processes, redefining the way the job is done and partnering people through the changes.” When automation frees people up from repetitive tasks, improves the quality of work and facilitates better decisions, it turns into a motor for transformation.
Leading complex industrial projects: advancing with what is essential
Our projects —global, tailor made and highly demanding— require a leadership style adapted to industrial realities. Complexity is not just a technical issue, it’s also an organisational and human one.
“It consists of moving forward through uncertainty, aligning the teams with incomplete information, providing context and making decisions with the minimum necessary to carry on advancing”, says Ivan. Waiting for perfect information isn’t an option in fast-paced industrial environments: you have to move, learn, and pivot as you go.
This approach has led to Aritex evolving towards more synchronised structures, where the connections between teams and aligned decision-making are strengthened.
The company as a space for growth
Ivan looks beyond mere economic results and defends a broader role of companies in society.
“There can be a mixture of the personal and professional at work. Challenges, tensions and difficult decisions can arise, but there are also opportunities for growth.” If organisations do their work well, they not only generate industrial value, they also contribute towards creating more mature people who are prepared to manage complexity.
“One of the biggest impacts that a company can have today is not just related what it produces, but to the people it helps to build”, he concludes.
We at Aritex share this vision: we look for ways to build an environment where opportunities for learning, responsibility and development are generated.
Building the future of industrial automation
Today we are an industrial group that specialises in developing highly complex automated solutions, with an international presence and a clear vocation for tailor-made projects in highly demanding sectors.
We combine engineering, technological integration and specialised talent to accompany our clients in ever more complex industrial environments. And we continue to progress with the same spirit that has defined us since we started: learn, adapt and transform every challenge into an opportunity to improve.
Because growing with industry is not just a question of size, it’s also about a shared vision, commitment and collective capacity to build the future, growing together hand in hand with our clients and maintaining the essential spirit that has been our hallmark ever since the beginning.
We have reached major milestones in recent years, but, as Ivan himself points out, the figures are not an end in themselves, they are simply the reflection of a job well done.
